According to our results, the deciduous willow (Fig 2B ) and the dicotylous wormwood litter (Fig 2C ) showed greater decreases in the DOC concentration in the litter compared with the coniferous cypress litter (Fig 2A ) and the monocotylous sedge litter (Fig 2D ), respectively, due to presenting higher litter quality (unpublished data).
