- 偏見（へんけん、英語: prejudice）とは、偏った見方のことである。差別と密接な関係を持つ。
- ゴードン・オルポートは「偏見とは十分な根拠もなしに他人を悪く考えること」と定義する。ここで言う他人を悪く考えることとは、「好意を持たない感情、恐怖感、嫌悪感と共に他人の差別、誹謗中傷、暴力等の反感を持った行為」である。
- 上記の定義はあくまで否定的偏見（ネガティブ偏見）である。十分な根拠もなしに他人をよく考えることもありうる（好意的偏見）。それを考慮にいれれば「偏見とは、十分な根拠もなしに他人を好きとか嫌いとかと判断する感情である」と定義されるべきとの主張もある。
