生殖（せいしょく、英: Reproduction）とは、生物が自らと同じ種に属する個体をつくることを言う。作り出した生物は親、作られた個体は子という関係となり、この単位は世代という種の継続状態を形成する。
生殖の基本は個体が持つ固有のDNAを継承することであり、それを端に発する細胞の各小器官（染色体・細胞核・ミトコンドリアなど）の複製が生じ、細胞分裂へと導かれる。そしてこれが積み重なり個体単位の発生に繋がる。
