日ラベル ウラベル
- ラベル(英語: label、英語発音: [leibl](レィブル)、 聞く)とは、容器、箱等の包装物の表面に貼り付けるなどの方法で固定して、そのものの名称(品名)、製造者、販売者、食品の場合には原材料名等を記載するもの。
- 日本語ではラベルと呼ぶことが多く、他にレッテル(オランダ語由来)、レーベルということもある。
- 素材は、紙または合成樹脂が多い。保護や印刷のために、表面に特別な加工がなされたものも多い。
- 郵便物の表面に貼り付ける「宛名ラベル」、磁気的記録物の内容を表示するためにその本体やケースに貼り付けるラベルなども存在する。
- なお、ラベルは、その利用のされ方から、印刷や接着剤・粘着剤との関係が深い。
