日ダンス ウダンス
- ダンス(英語: dance)は伴奏に合わせて演じられる一連の動作である。ソロ、デュエットあるいは集団で演じられ、祭りや儀式の場においても行われる。
- 日本では、はじめdanceの訳語として(ぶよう)舞(狭義の「ダンス」)と、踏(「ステップ」)を組み合わせた舞踏(ぶとう)が使われた。しかし、坪内逍遥の「新楽劇論」(1904年(明治37年))で舞踊という言葉が使われるようになり、現代ではこちらの方が一般的である。
