コンポーネント (Component) は部品あるいは成分を表し、分野により以下のような意味を持つ。
機械を構成する部品のことで、その機械専用に製作されたものから汎用の機械要素などが含まれる。
電子機器あるいは電気製品を構成する部品は電子部品と呼ばれる。
コンピュータソフトウェアにおいて部品とは特定の機能を果たす単位で、特に再利用を考えて汎用に開発されたもの。ソフトウェアコンポーネント、ソフトウェア部品とも。
オーディオ機器（ステレオ）において、CD再生、信号の増幅、電気信号から音響への変換など独立した機能単位、またはその機能単位で作られたCDプレーヤー、アンプ、スピーカーといった装置を指す。個々の装置は「デッキ(deck)」と呼ばれる。コンポーネントステレオを参照。
